888 Gaming, known worldwide for their well-established Poker and gaming sites and their unique, in-house game development have released an innovative new slot game entitled Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Whilst the gameplay, graphics and sound are state-of-the-art, the game’s key feature is that selected elements can be saved for future use, allowing players to capitalise on previous advancements they’ve made even if they haven’t hit the jackpot first time around.

Bonus features include the interactive Raptor Clash game, the chance to collect lava rocks and trigger the Free Spin Explosion, and – most importantly – the Combo Completer: This allows players to collect T Rex eggs, which can be stored and used again in subsequent games.

888 have stated that they’re particularly keen to move game development forward in radical new directions, having recently given their gaming site a total overhaul with new interactive lobby features and personalised avatars for players.

Itzi Pazner, 888s Senior VP, has stated that the company intends to continue developing games with innovative new features like this during 2012 and 2013, with the intention of “making a departure from standard, generic offerings and moving forward to a more engaging player concentric environment”. With other, more mainstream developers concentrating their efforts on branding and improved visuals it’ll be interesting to see how this game catches on…
