April has already been quite a busy month for new online slot machine games. It seems that it is only going to get bigger! Whilst Microgaming, Playtech, IGT and Net Entertainment have already released a handful of new titles this month, and with Net Entertainment due to unveil their new Aliens slot in April, followed by Microgaming’s T2 (Terminator 2) slot machine due a month or so after that, it is a busy time for slots, as summer approaches.

Great expectations?

So, what can be expect from WMS Gaming then? Well, the online casino software developers have already unveiled two upcoming slots, via new trailers on YouTube. The video previews don’t tell us much, but they do give us a glimpse of what is coming in the very near future from WMS.

Fire Queen has been designed in the mould of the Elvis: The King Lives slot machine game. It is only the second WMS Gaming title to contain the Double Money Burst feature, which will see players land transferring wilds as well as nudging wild reels. This fantasy themed video slot doesn’t look too different from other fantasy themed games, though perhaps the preview doesn’t do it justice? It is likely that Fire Queen will be a big paying slot, although it won’t pay out large sums very often.

Wicked games

As for the second game: that is WMS Gaming’s third adventure in the land of Wizard of Oz. Known as Wizard of Oz: Wicked Riches, this slot has far more potential. It will contain 4 progressive jackpots as well as a free spins bonus round which contains 8 free games, with multipliers of up to 10x the winnings. The slot will also have a Tornado bonus round, in the shape of a pick and win game, as well as a progressive jackpot feature for the big winnings.

Both video previews are now available on YouTube, and the slots are due to launch at the end of April at all good casinos offering WMS Gaming software.
