Prominent gaming providers from all over Europe have joined together at the European Slot Summit in Berlin. The summit is a 3 day event in which key players in the gaming industry gather to make connections and acquire knowledge about new developments in software. It runs from 18^th until 20^th April, and includes participation from approximately 100 businesses that are big in online gaming.

Who’s involved?

The event features a wide range of speakers, who all have different areas of expertise. Prominent speakers at the summit include Lucien Wijsman, Paul Steelman, Dallas Orchard, Sonia Nikolova and Michael Brennan. They are all delivering presentations that are of theoretical and practical use to anyone with a stake in the European casino industry.The European Slot Summit is supported by a number of information technology providers. These include: 3M, JCM Global, TransAct Technologies, CPI and BMM.

Why it’s great

Lucien Wijsman is Head of Content for this event, and says that this year’s summit is the culmination of feedback from those who attended last year in Bucharest. Wijsman considers this year’s content to be the most superior so far, and says that they are ‘covering the trends that people in the slot machine industry need to know over the next 5 years’.The Slot Summit will incorporate information on areas such as the long-term viability of e-sports and the development of touchscreen technology. Slot providers can also find out about how to offer the best possible options for games that are played live, in real time.
