The Creature from the Black Lagoon returns

Published on by

The Creature from the Black Lagoon returned this week. In a brand video slot, designed and developed by Net Entertainment, the prehistoric beast of the Black Lagoon returns to our screens, albeit in a game, rather than a movie sequel. The hit 1954 movie has been brought back to life using great graphics, and a fair gameplay structure. In many ways, the creature itself looks far better than it ever did in the original movie.

Fantastic effects

The characters played by David Reed, Kay Lawrence and Mark Williams all appear as icons in this new Net Ent slot, albeit computer animated symbols. The slot is fully licensed from Universal, and contains superb work to make Gill-man (the creature) as realistic looking as possible. The sound effects included in the slot are quite appealing too, with a dozen audio excerpts from the movie included.

The most enticing feature of the Creature from the Black Lagoon slot is the wild icon. Wilds here are more often than not, sticky wilds, and always trigger re-spins. A free spins feature has also been included into the slot, allowing players to win up to 20 free spins. During the free spins round, a crosshair icon may appear on the reels. When it does, the creature will appear across the reels. The more damage you to do the creature, the better the wilds will be. Wilds can increase to include sticky and spreading wilds. Additional free spins can also be won with this feature.

Free spins round= Bigger prizes

The basic idea of the free spins round is to damage the creature as much as possible, by taking away his health bars. The more health bars that you destroy, the better the prize that you will win. The Creature from the Black Lagoon has been released this week by Net Entertainment, and is available in all good online casinos hosting their software.
