Launching this week, just a few days before the end of February gives way to March is a brand new online slot machine game based on the Roman Empire. Designed and developed by Sheriff Gaming, the Ancient Roman themed slot machine game Spartania is yet another fine example of the Dutch company’s expertise in developing wonderful 3D slots.
 

With five reels and thirty pay lines there is much to admire in this slot game. Spartania is to be launched playable from all instant play casino sites running Sheriff Gaming software, and will not be available to downloadable casinos or mobile devices; at least at this moment in the time for the latter.

Icons include wild shields, tigers, the coliseum, an elephant (although this should be more Hannibal and Carthage than Rome), and of course a pompous and stuck up senator or Roman citizen of sorts. There are other carefully crafted icons too, all done with the usual comedic and witty skills that Sheriff Gaming traditionally employs in their 3D slot machine games.

This double or nothing game (as included in all Sheriff titles), involves a set of dice and a game of evens or odds. Simply predict whether the next set of three die will amount to even number, or an odd to either win or lose your money.
 

There is a bonus game (unusual for Sheriff) which is added into this mix, and three scatter symbols will trigger it. All in all, this delightful serving from Sheriff is something which has rarely been touched on in recent years, and certainly not a theme that has been done very well by anybody else. Spartania is a reel treat, no pun intended.
