There haven’t been too many new i-Slots from Rival Gaming for quite some time, so the news this week that Rival Gaming has released a brand new one into their collection comes as a very welcome surprise. The new i-Slot is known as Midway Madness and is themed very closely around a theme park. Like most Rival Gaming titles, there is a petite video at the beginning of the slot to help acclimatise the player to the theme of the slot, and the story. It’s a theme park; how much acclimatising is needed right?

For the symbols chosen in this online slot, as you may have guessed, most are of common attractions that you might find at any run of the mill theme park, anywhere in the world. There is the tilt-a-whirl, the Ferris wheel, the rocket ship and the log flume amongst others. A clown acts as the wild card in Midway Madness, and the bumper cars are the scatter symbols. The wild card only appears on reels one, three and five, and five of them on any particular pay line will trigger the fifteen thousand coins jackpot. There are also ticket symbols, which produce free spins if enough are hit.

The scatter symbols act as bonus symbols; they offer larger payouts and trigger a bonus round. In the bonus round, the player must pick for a series of drivers, and then guide his bumper card around the screen with his mouse in order to win. Once the game is complete, that bonus round ends though there is a second and third part to it before you return to the main screen. In the second part of the bonus game, you must roll a ball into a scoring zone. Finally, a player must catch falling ice cream to wrap up the bonus game in round three.
