Playtech will launch the legendary Space Invaders as a slot

Space Invaders – the legendary arcade game – is going to be making its debut in the online casino world in the next few months, courtesy of Playtech. The casino gaming giants are currently developing a new video slot based on the hit 1978 game.
Bringing It To Life
Created by Tomohiro Nishikado in 1978, the game went on to be a legend, and one of the most remembered video games in the history of gaming. Even today, Space Invaders still has a huge following. Now Playtech will be making the most out of this classic, bringing it to life over a 5-reel 10-payline structure.
All Platforms
Even though it will only be played over 10 paylines, players are going to have to wager at least 0.20 per spin on the game, even with the minimum bet. The new slot should be compatible with mobile, and tablet devices, as well as PC platforms. But what about the imagery and features of the net slot machine game?
Retro Look
Space Invaders has gone down the retro route, just like you would want it to. The slot features classic monsters, flying saucer spaceships and alien icons. What else would you be expecting to find in a Space Invaders slot?

The new slot machine game also contains an Invaders Turn Wild bonus. If a cannon icon appears on the second or fourth reels of the slot, it can shoot out the lower paying symbols and turn them into wilds, which allows you the potential to win big.
