Paddy Power has always been a front-runner when it comes to online betting innovation, with the brand’s mobile app proving to be a show stealer.

Helping take this mobile betting app to the next level is a brand new feature. Dubbed the “Pay Out Escalator” what this new feature allows gamblers to do is increase the potency of any bet by adding a ‘Kicker’ bet, on top of a normal bet, to any active payslip, increasing any potential pay out in the process. Raising the stakes, this new feature is sure to be a big hit amongst those who want to give their usual betting efforts an additional boost.

‘Kicker Bet’

Odds are many players will be unsure of just what a ‘Kicker’ bet is, spelling it out simply, it gives a player the chance to multiply his or her winnings dependent on the backed team’s margin of victory. Solely for football betting use at this point, a ‘Kicker’ bet will slot in alongside any ‘normal’ stake, allowing for escalated payouts. For example, should you add a £10 ‘Kicker’ wager to an evens bet, it will return an additional £20 (plus original stake) should the team win by 2 goals, £41 by 3 goals, £103 by four goals, and so on.In a statement released by Paddy Power, the betting firm said, “You could describe this as the Irish in your Irish coffee or the cinnamon on your French toast”. Currently only available for use within football markets at this point, dependent on the success on this new “Pay Out Escalator” it could be introduced within other betting markets before the end of the year.
