WMS Gaming are a real powerhouse right now. The online casino software developer is continuing to develop new slots at an unprecedented rate. This week, WMS released a video preview of their upcoming historical video slot, Roman Chariots. As with many of the new video slot previews, the video first hit YouTube.

From the video slot preview, we already know that the Roman Chariots slot will be the first of their Supercharged Reel slots, based on a gaming structure of four sets of 5X5 reels. As you can imagine, the minimum wager is slightly more expensive than you might normally pay, at 40p per spin. Still, considering what you get to play with, it is hardly terribly expensive. Good value for money then, is assured. 

Supercharged

So what is the deal with the Supercharged Reel slots, then? Well, the truth is, nobody really knows, as this is the first slot to feature this gaming engine. The general thought is that the additional reels will allow “supercharged wins”. This will come about by acquiring wild reels (though not individual or stacked wilds), which will then be added to the other reel sets, above the main reels. The more you bag, the higher a multiplier will be increased. Hypothetically then, it should be possible to land up to 5x multipliers. 

Free spins

A free spins feature has also be included in the Roman Chariots slot. Players will start off with 8 free spins, and since you are playing for free in this bonus, it is thought that the Supercharged Reel feature will be in its element in this feature. By the look of the video, players can expect a fairly high variance slot with this title. There has been no official release date yet for Roman Chariots. But – given WMS Gaming loves to release their titles in quick and rapid succession – we are expected a release well before the end of summer.
