Tech lovers can now play slot games on the go thanks to a new app that has been developed for Apple Watch.

Leading gaming company Leading Edge Design (LED) Gaming have teamed up with Chicago-based game developer Purple Gator to launch a brand new slot specifically designed for Apple Watch. The slot, entitled, Double Luck Nudge, is a new app that aims to bring the whole experience of the casino “right to your watch”.The Double Luck Nudge app has been described as being the “first real casino slot machine now on the Watch”. It’s an old-school three-reel slot with just a single payline running across the middle.

But there is a catch. As online gambling is illegal in all but three US states, Double Luck Nudge can at the moment only be played for fun. However, LED Gaming director of business development Steven DeMar believes it’s only a matter of time until other states follow suit and legalise online gambling. “We are closer than you think (to legalising online gambling),” he said. “The likelihood of it happening here is outstanding. The fear of missing out on tax revenue that other states will experience will probably be what tips the scales.”If and when that happens, the Double Luck Nudge app is prepared to go commercial. The technology is already in place to receive and make payments. Meanwhile, the app is available for $2.99 on Apple’s App Store.

UK First To Use New App With Real Money

Apple Watch owners in the UK, where online gambling is permitted, may be among the first to experience the new app using real money as LED Gaming are looking into the possibility of launching a pay to play version. But for the moment we’ll have to settle for the unlimited spins that free play has to offer.
