New Microgaming Release Attracting Art Lovers as Well as Gamers
Published on by Becky Mosley
Microgaming’s new Mystique Grove game has already gained a huge audience, not just for the way it plays but for the way it looks.
Themed around fairies, magic mushrooms, flowers, butterflies and other whimsical symbols, it’s considered a living work of art by many of its fans and features an enchanted forest-style background with fairies flying across the screen, an evil queen to add some drama, flowers that open up whilst you play and other animated symbol ideas that really show off the obvious artistic talent that’s been put into the game development.
Even by Microgaming’s high standards, the game is considered to be a step forward in giving players an exceptional, state-of-the-art visual treat and the musical ideas are every bit as well-executed.
Despite the obvious technological effort that’s gone into its production, Mystique Grove is available as a no-download game, which is a pleasant surprise. Microgaming invariably expect their players to download casinos that use their games, mainly because they have so many – usually around 600, which is more than twice that of their nearest competitor – though browser-based play is starting to take over the marketplace and Microgaming are clearly aware of this when releasing new games.
