NetEnt to release 2 new branded slot games
Swedish based games provider NetEnt have revealed that they are proposing to add 2 new titles to their branded hall of fame slot games. These themes have gained popularity with players of all ages, so let’s have a look at what they have to offer.
Rock On
First up is a rock themed slot about Ozzy Osbourne, who is often called the Prince of Darkness. Ozzy has done well as a solo artist and also gained fame as Black Sabbath’s lead vocalist, having over 100m million albums sold under his own name and with the group.
The blockbuster slot will portray images of Ozzy himself as well as his vocals. This will be added to NetEnt’s hall of fame slots which already include Jimi Hendrix, Guns N Roses and Motorhead which are proving to be big hits with music fans.
Bryan Upton, NetEnt director of game products, commented: “Rock stars don’t come much bigger, better known, or charismatic than Ozzy Osbourne.
“Thanks to his larger-than-life personality and outstanding contribution to music, Ozzy has developed a loyal and passionate following over the past 50 years – we can’t wait to bring this to the reels for players to enjoy.”
“NetEnt are the market leaders in their field, and we’re incredibly excited to add another of our artists to the exciting NetEnt Rocks family of games,” stated Barry Drinkwater, Chairman of Global Merchandising Services, Osbourne’s merchandising and brand management partner.
Mythical theme
Next we have a sword and sorcery themed slot based on Conan, who has a worldwide following, has featured in video games, comics, books and films. This will feature alongside titles such as Planet of the Apes, Jumanji, Narcos and Vikings, which are proving popular with players, and show again that NetEnt are keeping ahead of the game.
Upton added: “Conan is a character and a brand with a fantastic history and legions of fans all over the world. We are honoured to be creating our own adaptation of Conan and can’t wait to give him the hallmark NetEnt treatment.”
