NetEnt to Partner with Horse Racing Legend for New Slot

NetEnt has announced that they are developing a new slot game based around the popular sport of horse racing, and that the game is being created in partnership with eight-time championship jockey Peter Scudamore MBE.

Scudamore’s Super Stakes will mark the first branded sports title to be released by the Swedish developer, and is due for release at the peak of the 2018/19 National Hunt season to capitalise on the buzz around the Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National.

What we know

As always, NetEnt aren’t giving away too much too early, but the deal with Scudamore does include image and voice rights, as well as actual racing content being used in the slot.

Scudamore’s familiar voice will also be used in the game’s Free Spins feature, something that should add an extra level of immersion to the slot.

Perfect personality

Speaking of the deal and the slot, Director of Game Products at NetEnt, Bryan Upton, said:

While this is NetEnt’s first branded sports game, the likes of Jumanji and Planet of the Apes, as well as upcoming releases Narcos and Vikings, prove the developer’s ability to bring a well-known theme to life, and we expect them to do that again with Scudamore’s Super Stakes.
