NetEnt Launches Games with Rank Group

One of the largest gaming groups in Europe, The Rank Group PLC has been in the news a great deal recently.Despite the very public failure of their attempt alongside 888 to takeover William Hill, Rank has still been focusing on expanding and improving its product. This fact is evidenced by the recent announcement that the company has signed a licensing agreement with software giant NetEnt, which means a number of NetEnt titles are now live across Rank Group’s online casino network.

Rank Group and NetEnt

With sites including Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo within its network, it’s unlikely that any person in the UK is unfamiliar with any of Rank’s brands. If Rank is a name that people are likely to know, then that is certainly also true of NetEnt. The software provider behind some of 2016’s top new releases, like Aloha! Cluster Pays, Jimi Hendrix, Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune and more, NetEnt is one of the most popular providers of iGaming titles around.

Proven track record

At the time of the initial deal in June, Ciara Nic Liam, Head of Casino and Games at Rank Digital, said:“We are thrilled to be adding NetEnt’s award-winning game content to our Grosvenor and Mecca online brands. NetEnt has a proven track record in the UK market and we look forward to extending our offering with games from its portfolio that we know will resonate well with our players”“I am delighted to enter into this partnership that will further drive growth for us in the important UK market. I am confident that we can support Rank in growing its digital business and that our award-winning games will be much appreciated by Rank´s customers”, added Enrico Bradamante, MD of NetEnt Malta Ltd and Chief of European Market Operations.
