Net Entertainment gains a UK gambling license
Published on by Becky Mosley
The United Kingdom has been tightening its restrictions on gambling of late, namely by making it more difficult to offer services to UK based players without a license issued by the UK Gambling Commission. Whilst some of the other software providers may have turned their back on the UK because of this Net Entertainment has decided to play ball.
Licence Approved
This week Net Entertainment were granted software and operator licenses by the Gambling Commission, which will permit it to continue offering games to online casinos aimed at UK based players. The new law came into effect last year, although Net Entertainment had been granted a temporary license whilst this official one went through.
Great News
This is great news for thousands of UK casino players who love some of Net Entertainment’s biggest progressive jackpot slot machine games, such as Mega Fortune, Arabian Nights and, of course, Hall of Gods.
Rave Reviews
It also means that UK players will be able to continue playing Net Entertainment’s top quality video slots (without progressive jackpots), as well as their range of first-rate table and poker games. Coming soon from Net Entertainment will be a slot based on Dracula. Even though it isn’t out yet, the slot is receiving rave reviews, and should be an asset to the Scandinavian company, when it is finally launched later this month.
New Slot Launch
The company will also be launching a brand new slot called Stickers, and have released a video preview of the new game this week. The news will be delight some Net Ent players, although for most of us, the news will pass unnoticed, as it really is a case of business as normal for the online casino world.Net Entertainment joins Playtech and Microgaming, who have already been green-lit for a UK gambling license from the Gambling Commission.
