By now most of us will have tried our hand at the Jurassic Park video slot. Microgaming’s major movie themed video slot is one of the best such examples of both dinosaur themed, and movie themed slots on the net. Now they are following up on their success with a slot based on the fourth movie in the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic World.

New Slot

The hit movie made its way to cinemas in the summer of last year, and it has taken time for Microgaming to acquire the rights, to get everything the way they like with the new slot. They are developing a game based on the fourth highest grossing movie of all time after all.

Same Characters

The original Jurassic Park slot was played over Microgaming’s typical 5 reels and 243 ways to win structure, and featured a host of characters from the original 1993 movie. The new game should contain those characters from the fourth movie, and is likely to contain the dinosaurs from that picture too. This means that the fictional Indominus Rex should make an appearance in the game.

Hope For Success

Praised in all quarters, the Jurassic World movie was such a success that Microgaming are going to have to work hard to ensure that their take on the film is just as impressive. If the original Jurassic Park slot is anything to go by, this shouldn’t be too much of a challenge for them.

No Release Date Yet

There is no official release date in mind yet, and it seems that Microgaming are still going through the motions with their design of the slot. Expect a release at some point before the end of the year, although it is likely to be towards the end of summer, beginning of autumn.
