Microgaming Gives Back In A Big Way
Published on by Becky Mosley
Microgaming has showcased its generous nature by giving £30,000 to four charities. Rather than spending on festive offerings, the Isle of Man online gaming provider has given gifts to those who really need a helping hand. The choice of charities was made by customers and key organisational players, who wanted to give back to some of the most vulnerable people in society.
The Gift of Giving
The Gift of Giving initiative was rolled out in 2013, and is a key component of the Microgaming PayItForward policy. Customers and key company players were given the option to pick from one of 12 charities, and choose the organisation they most wanted to present with a gift. The charity which gained the most votes in each area (including the Isle of Man, UK and Europe, Africa and other parts of the world) was included in the initiative. Each of the charities for these areas received a donation of £7,500.The charities which benefitted from Microgaming gifts include: Wish Upon a Dream in the Isle of Man, CLIC Sergeant in the UK and Europe, Save the Rhino in Africa, and Cure Cancer Australia for the rest of the world.
