Medusa II now offers jackpot cash prizes to players

Medusa II is not exactly a new slot machine game. For a while now, this sequel to NextGen Gaming’s hugely popular Medusa slot has been a big hit amongst online casino players. Now though, the slot is set for a bit of rejuvenation. Medusa II has chosen to be one of NextGen Gaming’s new “Jackpots” slot machine games. In much the same manner as IGT often takes their most popular slots and turns them into Mega Jackpots slots, NextGen Gaming has now set about making Medusa II a progressive game. The basic gameplay of the new Medusa II Jackpots slot remains largely the same, although naturally, with it being the first progressive slot from NextGen Gaming, there are bound to be a few differences in gameplay.
About the slot
Players can expect the same Medusa wild to turn soldiers to stone (stacked wilds), and offer massive money multipliers, whilst the locked reels feature remains in place too. Free spins and synced reels continue to play an important part in wins via the Medusa II Jackpots slot, just like they did in its predecessor, Medusa II. So far, everything remains pretty much the same.
So, how do you win a progressive prize then? The simplest way for NextGen Gaming to deliver progressive prizes without altering the basic gameplay was to have randomly triggered prizes. These can occur at any point in the game, and there are three progressive prizes to be won. These include Minor, Major or Mega Jackpot prizes. If you’re a die-hard fan of the Medusa series, and happened to think that the difference between Medusa II and its predecessor – the original Medusa slot – wasn’t great enough, then the chances are that you’re going to fall in love with the new Medusa II Jackpots slot when it lands at online casinos this week.
