There are few industries on the planet that are growing at the rate of the online casino market, which is quite the piece of information. In the late 1990s, the online casino industry was worth no more than a few tens of thousands of dollars, but this changed rapidly, and by the time 2008 came around, the industry was worth a staggering $9 billion.But that wasn’t the big jump, the big jump occurred with gross revenue over tripling in the four years after 2008, to $28 billion.

The answer to this is pretty simple, it’s a combination of accessibility, and a love of gambling. Humans love a gamble, and the rise on online casinos and the internet have made this easier than it ever has been.What happens next remains to be seen, but all signs point to the industry continuing to grow over coming years.
