Gates of Olympus 2500 Expands Pragmatic Play’s Flagship Series

Pragmatic Play has launched a new instalment of one of the most popular titles in its portfolio, Gates of Olympus 2500.
Released on 28 September 2026, five years after Gates of Olympus introduced Zeus, the series has expanded far beyond a successful slot. Gates of Olympus has become a successful franchise, recently expanding into Pragmatic Play’s POP catalogue and Live Casino portfolio. Gates of Olympus 2500 now returns to the familiar slot format, but with a substantially different bonus approach.
Four Free Spins modes provide the principal change. Multiplier Symbols have increased to a maximum of 2,500x, while the max win potential is now 25,000x the bet.
Gates of Olympus 2500 Retains the Original Format
Pragmatic Play has preserved the foundations of Gates of Olympus. Eight or more matching symbols create a win anywhere on the grid. A Tumble follows, and the winning symbols are removed, with new symbols dropping into the empty positions. The Tumbles continue as long as new combinations land.
Multiplier Symbols appear during the base game and bonus rounds. Multipliers now reach 2,500x, and if several land during the same spin, they are combined before being applied to the win.
The 2,500x multiplier provides the headline, but the most significant changes are during the Free Spins.
Four Free Spins Modes Change the Bonus
Four Scatters award 15 Free Spins. Before the Free Spins begin, a wheel selects one of four bonus modes. Landing at least three additional Scatters during the feature awards five extra spins.
Free Spins 1 – Collects multipliers from winning spins into a running total before being applied to the win.
Free Spins 2 – Every multiplier that lands contributes to the running total, which then applies to subsequent wins.
Both have a ‘Super’ version, in which Multiplier Symbols start at 10x. The maximum win in Gates of Olympus 2500 is 25,000x the bet.
Gates of Olympus Has Become More Than a Slot Series
The timing of Gates of Olympus 2500 is significant. Pragmatic Play has spent 2026 expanding many of its most popular brands. The franchise expanded into Live Casino in April, launching Gates of Olympus Roulette. Gates of Olympus POP followed in August and became the flagship title in Pragmatic Play’s new POP series. Gates of Olympus 2500 launched less than a month later as the headline title in Pragmatic’s Q4 schedule.
