Betdigital joins forces with Net Entertainment for land-based games

There’s been an interesting deal struck this week in the online gaming world. Betdigital – a content and systems developer in the UK and International gambling markets – have recently aligned themselves with Scandinavian online casino software developer, Net Entertainment. The new deal will see Net Entertainment deliver their incredibly popular slots to Betdigital’s B2 and B3 gaming machines, operating at land-based licensed betting offices. Betdigital’s SystemX is the new platform that will deliver the goods, with their platform up to five times faster than other systems, when it comes to rapid-fire integrations.
New slots
Net Entertainment have been busy developing a series of new slot machines games of late. Wish Master is their latest title, whilst Aliens and South Park (both based on licensed franchises) are also relatively new. Other moderately new games such as Wild Water, Wonky Wabbits and Lights have also been causing waves. Net Ent – it seems – is never out of the news. It was only last month that a Net Entertainment £7 million-plus progressive jackpot was paid out, on the Hall of Gods slot. The company is also currently developing a sequel to their Mega Fortune progressive jackpot game, amongst other titles.
Joining forces
Net Ent is just one of several companies to join Betdigital over the last few months. GTECH, Gala Coral, Ladbrokes, NextGen Gaming and William Hill have already signed partnerships with them. The CEO of Betdigital, a Mr Heath Samples, believes that Betdigital prides themselves on delivering content quicker than any other system, and that the move with Net Ent on board is excellent, will push them above their competition.
About Betdigital
Betdigital itself was founded in 2011, so it is still quite a new business. They offer a cross-platform engine which allows game developers and third party producers to launch their content in the land-based gaming community. They are also known to provide in-house content to major casino operators including William Hill, Ladbrokes and Gala Coral. So, will the new deal that has been struck change things in your local LBO (licensed betting office)? If, the next time you pop down there, you find Aliens or South Park available for you to play, you can take it as a yes!
