ASA Holds Up Complaint Made Against Slots Heaven

Proving that the problems are mounting up for Slots Heaven, it seems that the complaints just keep coming, with the ASA now compounding such problems. The major complaint, which has many players up in arms, related to the brand’s ‘Welcome Bonus’, with many deeming its related advertising to be misleading. It all came about when a player, whose name currently isn’t known, wagered £10 on a slots game, only to find that there was a £5 bet limit in place, something that was not addressed in the ‘Welcome Bonus’ advert. Following this a complaint was filed with the ASA, something that Slots Heaven sought to contest.

CAP Codes Broken

The text in question within the advert read, “Your divine Welcome Bonus is ready and waiting for you! We’ll triple your money, so you can have triple the fun in the casino! Get a massive 200% up to $/£/€400 on your first deposit to play on our heavenly array of games. All games count towards the wagering requirements, so whether you prefer slots or classic casino games such as blackjack and roulette, there is something for everyone.” The advert also linked to the detailed General Promotions Terms and Conditions page on the Slots Heaven website. After breaking down the ins and outs of the advert, the ASA deemed that various CAP codes had been broken.ASA Holds Up Complaint Made Against Slots Heaven

” Misleading”

The CAP codes deemed to be breached were 3.1, 8.17, and 8.17.1, with these violations now being made public knowledge. Slots Heaven has adamantly denied any wrong doing, defending the advert. However, the ASA as a result of the investigation has deemed that the advert must be pulled, officially ending the case by saying that the ad was “misleading” and that “the advert must not appear again in the form about which the complaint was received”.ASA Holds Up Complaint Made Against Slots Heaven
