Same Brands, New Look Behind the Scenes
Although the corporate identity is changing, customer-facing brands like Videoslots, Mr Vegas, and Kungaslottet will keep their current names. This behind-the-scenes rebrand avoids player confusion while aligning with common industry practices during mergers or consolidations.
For example, when 888 Holdings acquired William Hill in 2022, they kept the William Hill name due to its strong legacy, especially in the UK.
A New CEO for a New Era
With the new name comes a new leader. Jesper Kärrbrink, former CEO of Svenska Spel and Mr Green, will take the reins at Immense Group AB, now based in Stockholm.
Kärrbrink brings decades of leadership experience, including over 20 years in the gaming industry. Starting as CEO of Svenska Spel in 2004, he later led Mr Green from 2016 and served as Chairman of Green Jade Games. He’s also been a board member for companies like Internet Vikings and Infostat since 2020.
