Blueprint Gaming acquires UK base Livewire

Blueprint Gaming who are part of the Gauselmann Group, has acquired Doncaster based developer Livewire Gaming, in a move which will strengthen their position as a leading supplier to the iGaming industry.

Livewire have built a good reputation for creating Category C, B3, D and B4 games for use within the UK market, many of which have been developed in collaboration with Blueprint Gaming.

Under terms of the agreement Livewire Gaming will still remain as an independent studio which will focus on creating land-based games and will continue under the direction Alan Claypole, the existing director.

This will be a significant boost to Blueprint Gaming as it will broaden their land-based progress in producing games for the Cat C Market

Sascha Blodau, UK General Manager for the Gauselmann Group, said “We would like to officially welcome Alan and his team to the Gauselmann Group.

“Livewire and Blueprint have had a close relationship for many years, so this merger makes perfect sense for both parties. We look forward to working with Livewire and building on our already successful partnership.”

Blueprint have already acquired Games Warehouse and Project Coin which has enabled them to widen their games design resources.
