O'Bryans' Funland Slot
Irish themed slots seem popular with many players and O’Bryans’ Funland developed by Red Rake Gaming is another excellent addition to the Irish themed genre. The game is packed with features such as Wild Reels, free spins, Pot of Gold and growing reels to name but a few.
About O’Bryans’ Funland
Available to play across desktop and mobile devices, O’Bryans’ Funland has 5 reels, 6 rows and 50 winning ways. Bets range from 10p up to £25 and it has a medium variance but a disappointingly low RTP of 95.3%.
The design is inspired by leprechaun Ryan O’ Bryan who featured in the previous titles Ryan O’Bryan and Celtic Fairies. The visuals are bright and colourful with highly detailed graphics and great animations. The reels sit above a lake within a forest filled with giant mushrooms.
Symbols are mushrooms, 4 leaf clovers, red boots, a green hat, a basket of fruit, tankards of beer and 3 fairies in yellow green and purple dresses. There are two wild symbols, the Rainbow pot of gold and the Ryan wild, the female leprechaun is the scatter.
Gameplay
Landing Ryan on the reels activates the Growing Reels where the reels expand up to 10 rows. The number of rows is randomly chosen and creates more chances of bagging a win. Any Ryan wilds and Rainbow pots of gold wilds rise up the reels landing in a random position.
If the rainbow pot of gold wild is on the reels the Pot of Gold feature triggers and any wilds transform into coins with different values, these are added together and paid out.
Landing 3, 4 or 5 female leprechaun scatters triggers the free spins awarding 8, 12 or 20 free spins. Then the fun starts, more special features are added on each spin and stay active for 3 spins:
You can get wilds, win multipliers, random winning gold coins, fairy wilds, wild reels, winning coins and winning wilds.
Verdict
O’Bryans’ Funland certainly has what it takes to stand out from the crowd, the design is excellent. Coupled with an abundance of features, it injects plenty of excitement throughout, the fact the RTP is a tad on the low side doesn’t really matter as the fun factor alone is worth a spin or two.
