Microgaming pay out over £1.2billion in jackpots so far

Software giants Microgaming have so far paid out over £1.2billion in jackpot prizes from their infamous progressive jackpot games, and have paid out £115 million this year alone!

 

Microgaming progressive jackpots

 

Microgaming have been one of the leading creators of progressive jackpot games, which include: Mega Moolah, Major Millions and Wheel of Wishes.

Its most recent jackpot winner, a UK player, scooped around £1.6 million just a few weeks ago and is the seventh player to be made a millionaire this year, courtesy of Microgaming. The jackpot was won at Spin Casino while playing the Major Millions slot game. A spokesperson for Spin Casino said “We are absolutely thrilled for our winner, who has become a millionaire overnight, Microgaming’s Major Millions has always been a popular game and we are delighted that the new five-reel version is proving similarly so with our customers.”

 

 

Other jackpot winners on Major Millions include a player winning £1.65 million in March and another player hitting a £1.2million jackpot in June. Microgaming have also had other million pound plus jackpots being won on their Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah and the original Mega Moolah slot games.

 

£1.2billion in payouts

 

Microgaming have now so far paid out over £1.2billion over their years in business on regular and progressive jackpot games. Microgaming’s CEO, John Coleman stated: “With total lifetime payouts exceeding €1.2bn, Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network has had an outstanding year to date, driven by a number of new game releases, including Wheel of Wishes, Atlantean Treasures and Absolootly Mad.’

‘We look forward to building on this momentum over the coming months, hosting more feature-rich games that feed into our leading jackpots, which have paid out over €115m across 2,571,389 jackpots so far this year – that’s more than eight payouts every minute on average.”
