Realtime Gaming online slot sites
RTG is an online casino software company, which develops and distributes downloadable casino games. RTG-powered casinos are licensed by independent operators. The company is currently located in Costa Rica where it has been since 2007, and was established in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1998.

In 2007, the company was purchased by Hastings International of Netherlands Antilles, and another corporate services provider, HPM Group. At the time, HPM Group described itself as “the premier provider of international financial services for establishing trusts and foundations; establishing and managing legal entities; and tax and estate planning".
Casinos running Realtime Gaming software have far more freedom with their software parameters than rivals such as 888 and Cryptologic. This means operators can adjust payout settings and odds for slots and video poker games. It is up to the licensee to observe the gambling legislation of their particular jurisdiction – no stringent instructions are passed on from Realtime gaming to their clients.
A visit to the Realtime Gaming home page yields very little – the one active link is to the Central Disputes System. The Central Disputes System claims it will act as a mediator between players and Hastings Licensees. Something dodgy going on? Quite possibly.
The company has a fair amount of controversy in its history – in 2004, a Caribbean 21 casino player won $1.3 million using a $1000 deposit bonus. He was a member of the Hamilton Casino, where he was playing for high stakes. Soon after, he won $96,000, playing for high stakes at another RTG venue called Delano Casino.
He was accused of cheating by the casino – allegedly, he used a robot, which is an automated playing system. They deemed the winner should not be paid – although the game had a small house advantage around 0.1%, it was still possible for him to win through good luck. As a result of the scandal, Realtime limited the maximum bet size on the game to $5, but changed this at a later date.
The details of the player's final settlement were never made public. Even more controversy – the Crystal Palace Casino listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM in 2005, for £140 million. As a result, a South African group called Warren Cloud went on to make pre-tax profits of more than £20.4 million. Warren Cloud died suddenly on his yacht in 2008.
