Responsible Gambling Week

Being a responsible gambler is in the forefront of our minds as affiliates, likewise the same for arcades, bookmakers, bingo halls, casinos and online casinos. Making sure players are safe at all times is the biggest priority throughout the gambling industry.

On the 12 – 18 October 2017 ‘Responsible Gambling Week’ will launch, spreading awareness of responsible gambling throughout the industry.

What is It About?

The aim is to educate people who love to gamble, on how to gamble responsibly. Teaming up with GamCare and GambleAware, the main theme is “ Let’s Talk About Responsible Gambling”, talking exclusively about staying safe while gambling and having support from these outlets if you need help with a gambling problem.

*In the UK over the week you can find posters, leaflets and banners throughout gambling venues, Social media and Industry sites encouraging chat about gambling and being responsible while doing so.

*Staff at gambling venues, as well as online sites will be on hand to speak to anyone that may have a gambling problem and will be armed with information on how to gamble safely.

*GamCare and GambleAware will be spreading the word through their dedicated websites and communication channels.

*Online Chatrooms through social media’s dedicated FaceBook and Twitter accounts will have  staff on hand to deal with any Q & A’s you may have about any form of gambling problem.

An up and coming event will be held in Parliament to educate politicians as to the severity of gambling problems in the UK, and ways to help their own constituents who may have a gambling problem.
