NetEnt Pens Deal With Merkur Gaming Italia
Merkur Gaming Italia, a subsidiary of German producer of gaming machines, Gauselmann, has entered into a deal with NetEnt that will allow the Malta based popular gaming provider to supply gaming content across the Italian Comma 6a retail market.
What the deal means
Merkur Gaming Italia has around 3,000 gaming machines installed in Italy, but the terms of the deal will also allow for NetEnt to provide their games to other firms who own machines in the country.
The first two NetEnt titles to be released under the deal are Eggomatic and Starburst, two of NetEnt’s most popular online titles. These are expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2017, to be followed by others.

Managing director of Merkur Gaming Italia, Roberto Migliozzi said of the new agreement:

NetEnt has had quite the year in 2016, not only is the company celebrating an impressive twenty years in the business, the NetEnt Rocks trilogy of slot games (Guns ‘n’ Roses, Jimi Hendrix, and Motörhead) that was released to celebrate this has found huge success and popularity, as have many other NetEnt releases in 2016, such as Aloha! Cluster Pays, Theme Park: Tickets of Fortune, and Secrets of Atlantis.
With this new deal allowing NetEnt to offer their games across gaming machines in Italy, the software provider looks to only go from strength to strength.
